Chandrapur…….a small town near Nagpur..arnd 140km away..dats wer i stay…
The first reason is…I have to hang on to internet with the help of dial up connection…that too 33kbps….I cant even open google reader with that speed…gmail takes awfully large time to open…n struggling through that time all I get is just a basic html view….the gtalk connection times out 95 times out of 100..
The bike i used to ride on during has been sold as it wasnt being used since last 2 yrs..so have to go arnd in bus or even worse in auto rikshwas which r asuumed to be 3 seater bt act as ten seater..
The next thing is..I dont knw anyone here….all my frens stay at nagpur….I come home (at chandrapur) for 3 months in a year…I have to live here with my family ( though I visit Nagpur everytime I come home ) …i hate being away from frens…
Next to go is TV…finally being at home i thought i’ll watch tv…bt wait there are only 25 channels available at chandrapur….which include 9 news channel…which hang on to one news throughout the day…
I guess these reasons are valid and enough to hate being at Chandrapur….

I use UBUNTU and Windows XP in dual boot on my comp…Recently, I reinstalled Windows XP….which as expected installed windows loader over grub…which doesnt detect linux partitions…so heres what u can do to recover grub and there is no need to install ubuntu again
….
1. Boot the Desktop/Live CD.
2. Open a terminal (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal)
3. Start grub as root with the following command :
sudo grub
4. You will get a grub prompt (see below) which we will use to find the root partition and install grub to the MBR (hd0,0)
[ Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists the possible completions of a device/filename. ]
grub>
Type the following and press enter:
find /boot/grub/stage1
Using this information, set the root device:
grub> root (hd0,1)
Install Grub:
grub> setup (hd0)
Exit Grub:
grub> quit
5. Reboot (to hard drive). Grub should be installed and both Ubuntu and Windows should have been automatically detected.
